We all know Jasper; struggling veggie vamp, officially
He's always on his toes, careful not to cross the line. After all, human blood stays tempting. Not to mention the chaos that crowds provide - that turmoil of emotions that all those humans feel... Yes, he has a gift. It's called empathy, and it means he feels other emotions. Mighty annoying at times. Luckily, he has his Alice, who keeps him sane and more or less human.
So yeah, anyone needs friends. Has friends. So does Jasper, though maybe not that much. They're mainly restricted to his family, Peter & Charlotte, and the Denali's. Humans might be possible, though... Unlikely. After all, his self-control isn't magnificent yet, so if an accident happens... You'd probably end up dead
Another dreaded something everybody has, including Jasper. That's pretty easy, actually, who his enemies are. The Volturi, werwolves, some humans, some crimson vampires... Mainly Volturi and shifters/werewolves, though.
And, of course, anyone who dares to even think of hurting his family, or even more important, Alice. They sure count as enemies, and probably regret their thoughts, because, face the facts; Jasper is quite a worthy opponent.
Where would Jasper be without Alice? She's his pixie, his frightening little monster. Besides, female humans are kinda scary at times, not to mention Alice if she gets mad. So yeah, true love for those two. They're soulmates, who can't respect that? And, Southern Gentleman as he is/can be, no flings, no real flirts, no cheating.
He's with Alice. Period.
Maria. That's yet another story. A long story, spanning over nearly a century. Let's stick with the essentials - she was once 'ruler' over Monterrey with her army of newborn vampires. Jasper was the one who trained them and her
second-in-command. It nearly destroyed him, in the end, so he escaped. And now? Now he's pretty afraid she'll come back for him, and for what she might cause in the Cullen family. They might have heard his story, they've never really experienced something like that. It worries him a little. Lot.
Peter & Charlotte. They're friends of Jasper, even though they're crimson vampires. As nomads, they've brought him the news of another life, 'back then', and every once in a while they 'pop in' for a visit. They're friends, but more, also reminders of his past, saviours, though they've 'merely' saved him from Maria
and not from something as dreadful as a lost humanity. Yet, he owes them and likes them. Aside, Peter is probably the best fighter he knows, carrying nearly as many scars as Jasper does.
And then there's something else I might want Jasper to stumble upon one day. Or the other way round, actually. Maybe Jasper could one day meet a newborn vampire - or at least an unknown vampire. At least, unknown in the meaning that the guy/girl hasn't met Jasper before. I just think it's funny if we/I can play that
someone's scared out of his wits by Jaspers scarred appearance, before finding out that, as long as you don't hurt his loved ones, is actually quite 'unimpressive'. But that's just a little idea. :ph43r:
